We are excited to announce that the Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Dupont Elementary School! March 9th-20th, 2026. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to discover new books and continue their love of reading.

Dupont Elementary is in the middle of a Zearn Winter Games Challenge, and since we love recognizing effort, we created special Brag Tags just for the event!
We awarded 223 Brag Tags in Week 1, and I already have 175 cut out and ready for Week 2 when we return to school.
With another day off today, I’m getting a head start on Week 3’s Brag Tag… and I’m thinking Brainy definitely needs to be skiing for this one! ⛷️❄️ Elementary PTO,

Have you registered your child for the Kid's Heart Challenge? There is still time! We are asking that each student raise $10 to participate. Heart health is really important, and our money raised will help research and initiatives. Many of us have been directly impacted by heart health. Please consider supporting your child and participating in this great event. We currently have 40 students signed up, out of over 500! 4th and 5th graders, where are you ​at?!

and save lives! Sign up today and earn your wristband!
Through Finn’s Mission, you’ll learn the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR and how to
recognize a stroke. Here are the next steps to take today and be one of the first to complete
your mission:
1. Sign Up http://www2.heart.org/goto/DupontES and download the free “AHA Schools”
app. 2. Raise funds to help kids with special hearts and start earning thank-you gifts.
3. Complete Finn’s Mission: Learn Hands-Only CPR, earn your lifesavers cape and be
entered to win two Super Bowl tickets!
Now is the time to join our team! We need your help to reach our goal!
If 50% of our families sign up our school will earn a $500 gift certificate for physical
activity and recess equipment to support the health of our school community.
I can’t wait to see our school create a community of lifesavers this year.

The American Heart Association offers programs for the classroom and for the gym to get help kids healthy and performing better in school.

Dupont families!

We are halfway through our kids heart challenge fundraising campaign for the American Heart Association! There is still time to register and participate so that you and your child can join the lifesaver league of heroes! Students have learned about the thank-you-gifts that they will receive if they participate to certain donating levels.

Also, students could qualify to silly string or pie-in-the-face the PE teachers . This includes:
-Registering and donating $10 or more (Silly String PE teachers)
-Registering, donating $25 or more, and completing Finn’s mission (Pie the PE teachers)

Thank you for your support of this heart healthy initiative from the American Heart Association.
