Creative Connections Play School

CPS, we understand that the classroom is the third teacher and is designed to inspire learning. Provocations are set up for children to make hypotheses, investigate and create while the room has neutral colors so that children's work is the main focus in the room. You will find photographs of the children's activities, and this documentation explains how the process and projects are on going to encourage deeper thinking. This program supports the interests of children, values the children’s ability to learn and guides each child in meeting their full potential. The teachers at Creative Connections recognize that children express themselves through many “languages”, or modes of expression including words, movement, drawing, painting, sculpture, shadow play, collage and music. Students are immersed in the many “languages”, literature, math, and science in a safe and nurturing environment. Maria Santomauro and Kyle Wille founded the school in 2014 and rented space from Hopewell Presbyterian Church for their program. In 2017, CCPS became a ministry of Hopewell Presbyterian Church, under the leadership of Elder Liz Blankstein and a Board of Trustees. Creative Connections Play School offers five full days of care or half day care for three, four or five days a week. CCPS is a mission of Hopewell Presbyterian Church and we are located at 80 West Broad Street in Hopewell, NJ.
