🌿 Meet Dannielle, Owner and Director of Just A Wee!

Dannielle has been part of Just A Wee for more than 25 years and has proudly owned and operated the center since 2012, carrying on the tradition of a family run program that has been caring for children since 1960.

Just A Wee has always been a big part of Dannielle’s family. All of her children attended JAW, and now her grandchildren do too. Some of the children she once had in her own classroom are now working alongside her or bringing their own children to Just A Wee, which is incredibly special to her.

Dannielle’s vision for the Learning Lodge was to create a place where children could spend the time outside that they truly need. A place where they can explore the woods, get dirty, use their imaginations, take safe risks and simply enjoy being kids.

To Dannielle, this is childhood the way it was meant to be.

Just A Wee has never been simply a business. It has always been part of her family, and she is so excited to begin this new chapter at the Learning Lodge! 🤎

Tomorrow, the doors to the Learning Lodge officially open! 🌲🤎

This new chapter would not be possible without this incredible group of educators. They have worked tirelessly—packing, moving, organizing, cleaning, planning and pouring so much love into every corner of our new home.

Tomorrow, these familiar faces will be waiting to welcome our children with open arms and begin making brand-new memories together. We are beyond proud of this team and so grateful for the heart they bring to Just-A-Wee every single day.

The classrooms are ready. The teachers are ready. And now, it’s finally time…

🌿 Now Enrolling at the Just-A-Wee Learning Lodge

Looking for something a little different than traditional child care?

At the Learning Lodge, we believe childhood should still feel like childhood. 💚

From our littlest infants to our Pre-K kids, our days are filled with nurturing care, hands-on learning, outdoor exploration, creativity, movement, messy play, building, discovering, and plenty of time to simply be little.
