It's been a busy first two weeks for the HCA 10th grade class! We started the new school year by helping set up the Hope Watermelon Festival. Last Friday, PAFFORD Medical Service came and trained the HCA students in CPR. We had the opportunity to take part in a presentation and tour of downton Hope with the Hope Downtown Network. New Student Orientation was Tuesday at UAHT. We spent Wednesday and Thursday getting ready for the first day of school at UAHT, then spent Friday learning about the foster care children and families in Hope and Hempstead County at The CALL. Afterwards, we broke into groups and completed several projects for The CALL, Hope Downtown Network, and DHS.

These kids understand the meaning of SWEAT EQUITY...and they certainly learned that Hope is dependent on productive citizens who ACTIVELY love on their communities!

Now, it's time to rest and recharge for the first official day of classes at Hope Collegiate Academy! ♥✏️📚📓📒
