🩺 **Hands-on learning with future healthcare professionals!**

SAU Year 3 BSN nursing students spent the day practicing skills for public school screenings, including vision, hearing, BMI, and scoliosis. They also received hands-on training in **Narcan** and **Stop the Bleed**. ❤️‍🩹

We loved spending the day with **Dr. Tara Almand and her nursing students!** A big thank you to **Madison Morris, SW Region CHPS, and Pam Davis, SCSC CHNS**, for sharing their knowledge and leading today’s training. 👏

Arkansas lost a wonderful supporter of literary in our state!

Today, Arkansas Imagination Library joins people around the world in mourning the loss of Dolly Parton, an extraordinary woman whose vision changed childhood for millions.

Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Dolly placed books into the hands and homes of children around the world and inspired a love of reading from the very beginning.

Here in Arkansas, Dolly’s vision has reached every county in our state. More than 82,000 Arkansas children currently receive an Imagination Library book in the mail each month, and more than 7 million books have been delivered to Arkansas children since the program began in our state in 2005.

Thank you, Dolly, for believing so deeply in the power of books and the potential of every child. Your legacy will live on for generations. We will always love you. ❤️

BIG NEWS FOR HOPE PUBLIC SCHOOLS!

Two HPS campuses earned the top two spots in the Southwest Arkansas Education Cooperative’s ATLAS Achievement Movement for grades 3 through 10.

🥇 Beryl Henry Elementary
17.3% achievement gain | No. 1

🥈 Yerger Middle School
13.7% achievement gain | No. 2

The average improvement across the cooperative was 3.5%.

These results represent more than numbers. They reflect the hard work of our students, teachers, staff, families and school leaders, along with a continued focus on instruction, collaboration, student ownership and academic growth.

Congratulations to Principal Kedrick Jones and the Beryl Henry team, Principal Marilyn Marks and the Yerger team, and most importantly, the students whose growth made this achievement possible.

We are proud of the work happening across Hope Public Schools, and we are excited about where we go from here.
