Hope-Page FFA is putting on both softball and baseball concessions this spring! We are very excited for the warm weather and the chance to raise money for students! BUT we need help! Kicking off April, Raymond Schlotfeldt is our member of the month! Ray’s favorite part about FFA is being able to take a break from school to do fun FFA activities, and his favorite memory is his 7th grade year during State FFA. This week, we traveled to Minot to compete in the State Winter CDE competition! On Sunday, we traveled to South Prairie for their practice contest to get in one more practice before state! Then, on Monday students competed for the final time this season in Agronomy and Agricultural Sales. The teams have shown incredible improvement throughout this season! Congratulations to Bridger for earning a SILVER and to Nevaeh for earning a BRONZE! We are very proud of each team member!

Our March Member of the Month is Bridger Knott!! We recognize Bridger for his commitment to agronomy during the Winter CDE season. Bridger's favorite part of FFA is having fun with his friends. Some of his favorite activities and memories are state convention and FFA Camp during 2025! Bridger thinks FFA is a good way to challenge yourself and build social skills. Thank you Bridger!

Last week, students in Botany/Horticulture and Exploring Agriculture 8 completed a scrumptious soil activity. They spent a day learning about the soil horizons and then got to put together a soil cup to represent those layers. Last week, students in Foundations of Agriculture (10th grade) learned about the digestive system of different animals. Students modeled the digestive systems out of playdoh to help visualize what they learned. Then, they completed a digestion lab, where students got to simulate digestion in a monogastric using crackers, bananas, and water!

A delayed, February member of the month. Blaikli Zimprich! Blaikli’s favorite part about FFA, along with being one of her favorite memories, is going to FFA Camp in the summer! Another one of her favorite memories is playing black light dodgeball during FFA week. Blaikli believes people should join FFA because of it being both fun and challenging, along with getting the opportunity to meet new people. Stay tuned for more members of the month!

On Wednesday, we hosted black-light dodgeball! Members wore neon clothing, and played dodgeball in the dark. We had lots of food to feast on during the fun. Our favorite cow costumes even made an appearance!!
