Cumberland County, in partnership with the City of Fayetteville, NC Government and community partners, will open Cooling Centers from Thursday, June 11, through Monday, June 15, in response to forecasted heat index values ranging from 100Β°F to 107Β°F.

Residents without access to air conditioning are encouraged to visit a cooling center during normal business hours to stay cool and safe. Remember to drink plenty of water, limit outdoor activity during peak heat hours and check on older adults, young children, neighbors and pets.
