3/24/2020 UPDATE:
By now we have all heard or know about the Governor’s latest Executive Order keeping public schools closed until May 15, 2020. At this time, Flaming Sword will continue with its e-learning until further notice. I do anticipate we will all be together for our end of school activities. We will keep you posted as things change. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the office and/or your student’s teachers. Please pray for one another and wash those hands! Dr. Wanda Hatmaker

Parents, please make sure you are checking your students' Teacher Page on Gradelink for assignments to be completed at home. Students must complete work on the days assigned. If students are having difficulty with the work, reach out to the teachers for assistance. Teachers are still available remotely to answer questions.

❗️IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM DR. HATMAKER REGARDING COVID-19❗️
Dear Parents and Staff,
After listening to Gov. Cooper's announcement of mandatory closing of all public K-12 schools, the decision has been made that FSCA is staying open, including the daycare, until you are otherwise notified. If your child is sick, please keep him/her home. If you choose not to send your child to school, please let their teacher know and their work will be posted online via Gradelink, along with any necessary worksheets. They will be required to bring all of their work with them upon their return to school. If there are any changes, you will be notified immediately. If you have any questions please contact me directly. Also remember, academy students are out 3/18-20 due to conferences and IEP workshop. School and daycare will operate on its regular schedule until further notice.
Dr. Hatmaker
