Gray's Creek High Athletics

Reflecting on this year, the big thing that comes to mind is gratitude.

Thank you to all of our student-athletes, teacher-coaches, staff who worked the gates, volunteers in the concession stand, the Booster Club and all of our parents and community members.

Gray's Creek is a special place, and there are some exciting things happening here.

We have one more day of school this week, then a relaxing three day weekend!

POST-SEASON TICKET PRICES AS SET BY THE NCHSAA:

TRACK: Regionals: $10 State: $15

BASEBALL/SOFTBALL/SOCCER: Rounds 1 & 2: $10, Round 3-Regional Final: $12 State: $12-25 (BB/SB: played in a series, $12 for one game or $25 for all three; soccer: $15)

LACROSSE: Depends on the number of games played at that site, 1 or 2. Rounds 1 & 2: $10/$12, Round 3-Regional Final: $12/$13, State: $15

IT'S POST-SEASON TIME!! We are so proud of our student-athletes and coaches who are representing us in the post-season. Tennis and Golf are already off and running, Track, Baseball and Softball enter the post-season this week with Lacrosse and Soccer joining the fun next week!

It's that time of the year again for state testing, and we need your help. We are in need of proctors for the state tests, those who volunteer will receive a one game pass for free entry into an athletic event!!

If you're able to, our students and teachers would appreciate the support.

EOC Proctoring Spring 2026 Senior Parents: Each senior family is able to earn one 2026 graduation ticket by proctoring 2 spring testing days. Limit 1 ticket per student. Tickets distributed at time of ticket distribution for all seniors. Limited to the 1st 20 families at respond. Dates to choose from: May 18th, May 19th, May....

Our regular seasons are winding down. This week we start our senior night celebrations, and have different events at home each night of the week. Come support our student-athletes and fill up the stands!!

Playoff bound! Congratulations to the Lady Bears Basketball Team on earning a spot in the 6A State playoffs. We will be on the road for round one Tuesday. Once we have a playing time set, the location and time will be shared.

CONGRATULATIONS TO LADY BEARS WRESTLER LAUREN!

Lauren placed 2nd in the 6A East Regional which earned her a spot at the 6A State Championship tournament.

Lauren wrestled hard over two long days, and placed 3rd in the 6A State Championship.
