The statewide application for camp counselors and leaders-in-training is now open in ZSuite!

PA 4-H is looking for dedicated, enthusiastic volunteers to help create a safe, fun, and memorable experience for youth at our ten overnight camps. If you love camp—or want to build leadership skills while working with young people—this is your chance to be part of something impactful!

Potential Camp Counselors must be 18 years or older by the start of camp.
The Leaders in Training (LITs) application is open to 4‑H members ages 15–17 who want to grow leadership skills by supporting the counselor team.

Those who are interested in applying to be a camp LIT/Counselor for the PA 4-H Multi County Horse Camp (hosted in Westmoreland County) will also apply using this application. This application will also serve as the registration link for the virtual training for camp counselors and leaders-in-training, which will take place on March 21-22.

Applications are due March 6.

Regional 4-H Camp Nurse Dot getting some well deserved recognition - Congratulations!

It's time for our Pennsylvania 4-H Volunteer Spotlight! Each month, Pennsylvania 4-H highlights volunteers who are doing great work around the state. Today, we are celebrating Dorothy Gindlesperger of Somerset County.

Dorothy is the leader of Hooversville Hayseeders 4-H club. She has been a 4-H volunteer for 21 years. Her expertise includes leading the club, community service projects, and animal science projects. Her nominator says, "Dorothy's dedication and passion for 4-H is unwavering, she is a volunteer that's always there when you need her."
