Final update from Nationals!

While we didn’t place in the top three, we are incredibly proud of our students’ accomplishments on the national stage. Henry Wright finished 12th overall in the nation in Automotive Service Technology, and Joseph Clem finished 15th overall in Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair.

These young men represented Alabama, Hoover City Schools, and RC3 with professionalism, determination, and pride. Their success reflects the hard work they have put in throughout the year.

It’s amazing to see how far the RC3 Automotive Academy team has come in just one year. The future is bright, and we look forward to what next year holds.

RC3 Automotive Academy Update

Today was Henry Wright’s turn to represent Alabama, Hoover City Schools, and RC3 Automotive Academy at the SkillsUSA National Conference!

We are incredibly proud of Henry for his hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Competing on the national stage is a tremendous accomplishment, and he has represented our program, school system, and state with professionalism and pride.

Join us in wishing Henry the best as we await the results. No matter the outcome, he has already made us proud!

RC3 Automotive is incredibly proud of Joseph Clem for completing the SkillsUSA National Competition in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair today!

What an amazing accomplishment for a first-year student to compete on the national stage. Joseph has worked hard all year, and now we eagerly await the results on Friday to see how he placed.

The excitement isn’t over yet—tomorrow it’s Henry Wright’s turn to compete in Automotive Service Technology! We couldn’t be more proud of these students for representing RC3 Automotive Academy, Hoover City Schools, and the State of Alabama at the national level.

FutureTechnicians

RC3 would like to thank Ford Motor Company and Long-Lewis Ford of Hoover for allowing us to host the Ford Test Drive Event at our school!

Ford donated for every test drive, and Long-Lewis matched it!!! Through this amazing community outreach event, we raised almost $3,000 to be divided between the academies.

It’s awesome to see companies like Ford and Long-Lewis continuing to support and promote Career Tech programs in today’s schools. We truly appreciate your partnership and investment in our students and future workforce! 🚗🔧💙.

Credentialing — SkillsUSA NLSC There will be several opportunities at NLSC 2025 for both advisors and students to sit for quality credential exams. Space is limited, so registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
