Lucrezia from Italy is one of my favorite students waiting to be matched with a host family for next school year. She specifically requested to be placed in the southern states. She loves volleyball, dogs, spending time with family and friends, as well as watching sports of all kinds. Hi friends! Now is a great time to say yes to hosting an exchange student! We have several students who were previously matched with families in the eastern region of the U.S., but their placements have fallen through! If you know anyone (anywhere in the U.S.) that would be a great host family, EF is paying $500 this month to anyone who refers a new host family!

* note: She is vegetarian, but her family at home is not, so she is very used to preparing her own meals and has no problem living with a family that doesn’t follow this same dietary choice. 😊

So proud of Nina and Sophie for being inducted into the National Honor Society this morning! They have made the most of every minute of their exchange year, and in addition to being academic superstars at their school, they have also participated in several sports this year. I also presented a Global Education Excellence Award to their principal this morning for their outstanding dedication to welcoming the world to their school each year and loving and supporting our students so well.

This is why I love what I do! These memories will last a lifetime for these students and families! ❤️

Student spotlight! Sara is from Switzerland, but her mom is from Argentina and her dad is from Serbia, so she grew up speaking 3 languages at home: Spanish, Serbian, and German! She also studies several other languages at school, like French and Russian, and speaks English really well!! She loves dogs and is best friends with her big sister. She loves being active and playing sports and she is open to attending church while on exchange!
