And just like that…another year at CFA is over. ❤️ This little school has become so much more than I ever imagined when it first started as just discussion amongst parents looking for other options.
Yes, I’ve watched students grow academically…but honestly the emotional and social growth has probably been even more special to witness. Confidence. Friendships. Kids feeling safe and understood. That matters too.
We may not be the biggest school. We may not have all the newest technology. We may not be the fanciest. But what we DO have is something special.
We have teachers that truly love teaching. They aren’t buried in constant meetings, checklists, micromanaging, and unrealistic expectations. They get to TEACH. They get to build relationships with students. They get to love what they do again.
And our students? They get to be kids. Paper. Pencil. Whiteboards. Real conversations. Real books. Real friendships. The kind of school so many of us grew up with in the 80’s and 90’s.
Today our parents and students spoiled us with gifts, an amazing lunch, and even a teacher awards ceremony. I don’t think people fully understand how rare this kind of community is. CFA is not just a school. It’s family. Kind, loving, supportive, God-centered family.
And I will never stop being thankful that God trusted me with this little dream. ❤️
