Congratulations to Spain
Park anglers this weekend as they fished the ABF on Logan Martin Lake. Juniors Luke Abston and Sam Dunn had a strong 7th place finish. We would also like to congratulate our senior Lucas Thornton with his strong showing. The Jags are looking forward to carrying on this momentum into their tournament next week at Lay Lake.

Day 2 BassMaster High School National Championship Tough day of fishing for the majority of the field today. So proud of Benjamin & Clay for putting together another consistent five fish limit just missing the cut line with 20.8 lbs. Also proud of our solo angler, Andrew, for his impressive two day bag weight of 14.5lbs with a nice spotted bass to end his first run at a National title.

Appreciate the incredibly effective conservation efforts by Bass Nation to release tournament fish! Special bags are used to transport fish to the weigh in tent. Once inside the tent, bags are kept submerged in oxygen infused tanks until fish are officially weighed on the main stage. After weigh in, fish are transported by staff to release tanks on live release boats. After some oxygen enriched TLC, hundreds of pounds of bass are transported to a deep water release location where trap doors open to safely release fish to home waters. In the event boat motors need a repair, Yamaha and Mercury trailers are on site to assist. Great Operation!
