🏈 FOOTBALL SEASON IS ALMOST HERE! 🏈

Iron Kid Ministries is actively collecting new and gently used football equipment to help equip young athletes in under-resourced communities for the upcoming season.

Our top priority need is football helmets that are two years old or newer to ensure they are still within safety expiration guidelines as well as football shoulder pads and cleats.

We are also accepting:
✔️ Footballs
✔️ Practice gear
✔️ Girdles & pads
✔️ Other football equipment

Every donation helps remove barriers and gives kids the opportunity to play, grow, and thrive through sports.

Sports opportunities shouldn’t depend on a zip code.

From 2012–2020, Iron Kid Ministries’ Mobile Impact Unit traveled throughout The Greater Birmingham Area carrying sports equipment for free clinics, camps, and outreach events, helping thousands of kids experience the joy of sports.

As Iron Kid Ministries begins this new chapter, so does the Mobile Impact Unit.

Our vision is to transform it into a mobile redistribution hub—bringing donated sports equipment directly to schools, nonprofits, and under-resourced communities. Instead of transporting equipment for clinics, it will transport opportunities for kids who need them most.

This isn’t just about a trailer. It’s about removing barriers, building community partnerships, and making sure every child has the chance to play.

Every donation, every partnership, and every person who believes in this mission brings us one step closer to making this vision a reality.

Another redistribution is in the books and we’re incredibly grateful for more opportunities to serve youth athletes across Birmingham!

Today, Iron Kid Ministries redistributed baseball equipment to the Arthur & Eva Brown Foundation and equipped Hope Sports Academy with 190 brand-new basketballs. Together, these donations represented more than $10,000 worth of sports equipment placed into the hands of organizations investing in the next generation.

Moments like these remind us that real impact happens through community. When other nonprofits, schools, players, coaches, and local leaders come together, we can create opportunities that one organization couldn’t accomplish alone.
