Today we celebrate freedom, inclusion, and change.

“Juneteenth is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States. It marks the day in 1865 when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas, to ensure all enslaved people were freed, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.”

Week 2 of Summer Camp!

We explored the world around us and preformed several fun experiments. 🧪 🔭🔬🧑‍🔬

On Monday, we learned about force and motion, so we created paper airplanes ✈️ . On Tuesday, we created our own slime. On Wednesday, we demonstrated rain in a jar 🌧️. On Thursday, we watched a rainbow grow🌈. Today, we created our own yummy ice cream 🍦 using a lot of time and strength.

This sweet friend is on her way to Kindergarten! We are so proud of all her hard work over the past two years.
