Bumpus Middle School Choirs

If choir is not on your student’s schedule and your student wants to sing with us this year, please let us know and we can get their schedule adjusted. We had an awesome year last year and are looking forward to a great year for our choir program! Here are some pictures of our choirs at different events and performances from last school year.

Cadence Show Choir performed in the Music in the Parks Festival at Dollywood this past weekend and earned a superior rating and 1st place in their division. As of that wasn’t enough, we are most proud of the “Best Overall” award they received in the vocal division, earning a higher score than any other choir or show choir out of all of the middle school choirs at the festival.
Additionally, Liana Galpothdeniya was awarded Best Vocalist out of all of the solos at the competition!

We had an awesome group represent Bumpus at All State this year! So proud of these students! It was a great experience and a wonderful concert. Aashika Begur and Liana Galpothdeniya were selected for solos at the concert. Samyra Godwin was selected for a small group part and several of our students had speaking parts in the concert.

Cadence Show Choir won Grand Champion at Jasper Foothills Show Choir Classic this weekend. They also won Best Vocals, Best Choreography, Best Overall Effect and The People’s Choice Award. In addition, Liana Galpothdeniya won Best Female Vocalist in the solo competition and Christian Ziannis won Best Male Vocalist in the solo competition.
