One of the ways we serve the Campus Outreach movement is through the Campus Outreach StaffCast. Produced by Campus Outreach SERVE in partnership with the greater Campus Outreach movement, each episode is designed to encourage, equip, and support those serving in ministry.

While it was created with Campus Outreach staff in mind, the conversations are valuable for anyone who wants to grow in ministry, leadership, discipleship, and their walk with Christ.

WHY does Campus Outreach SERVE exist?

Because we believe Jesus meant it when He said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.”

Campus Outreach SERVE exists to empower and expand Campus Outreach ministries under the authority of local churches by helping anyone connected to Campus Outreach labor in strength and build more laborers for the harvest.

The impact shown here is the WHY. Behind every number is a person. A conversation. A student discipled. Someone taking a step of faith. Someone hearing the gospel. Someone meeting Jesus.

WHERE is CO SERVE? 🌍

While the Campus Outreach SERVE offices are based in Birmingham, the impact reaches far beyond one location.

Across 110 campuses in 36 regions, more than 800 Campus Outreach staff are helping students know Christ and make Him known.

CO SERVE exists to strengthen and support the broader movement through training, operational support, and missionary care while also directly serving more than 250 staff serving on international ministry teams around the world.

Months after helping coordinate National Conference, Mike Misenheimer received a message about a young woman who had come to Christ there and was recently baptized.

A reminder that the gospel’s work doesn’t only happen on the stage. Sometimes it begins in the faithful, unseen details that make room for lives to be changed forever. 🤍

Everything has a beginning…and SERVE is no different.

Campus Outreach began in 1978 and grew over the next 40+ years to dozens of locations across nearly ten countries. As the movement expanded, leaders saw a growing need for greater coordination, collaboration, and shared resources across churches and campuses.

Out of that need, Campus Outreach SERVE was formed – launched in 2019 and commissioned by hub churches to help strengthen and support what God was already building across the world.
