Great choice! Come on out on Saturday to see us. Weather looks nice ☀️

We are proud to announce that Frank Ziehm, patriarch of the Ziehm family and Tiashoke Farm in Buskirk, has been named Grand Marshal of the 2026 Burton H. Luke Tractor Parade at The Walter A. Wood Tractor and Agriculture Show on Saturday, October 3, in Hoosick Falls.

The Ziehm family’s agricultural roots date back to the early 1940s in Albany, New York, when their great-aunt sold 15 cows to their grandfather. In the 1960s, as suburban development limited local land and water, the operation relocated to Buskirk near the Covered Bridge. Frank and his wife began by milking 50 cows in a stanchion barn with the help of their children.

Today, Tiashoke Farm is managed by brothers Brian and Stuart Ziehm, alongside the next generation. The operation has grown to encompass 1,100 dairy cows, 2,000 acres of crops, 100 beef cattle, pigs, chickens, and a pumpkin patch. Spanning three active generations, the family remains deeply committed to sustainable farming and their community. You can still find Frank helping around the farm today.

We are honored to have Frank Ziehm serve as our 2026 Grand Marshal, and we extend our sincere gratitude to all of our local farming families for their dedication to our community.

Frank will lead the tractor parade starting at 12:00 PM from Wood Park (24 Main St., Hoosick Falls). The parade route will proceed along Main St., John St., and Church St. before returning to Wood Park.

Thank You Ms Gulley!

Happy National Teach Ag Day!

Today, and every day, we are grateful for the agriculture teachers across New York who inspire, encourage, and empower the next generation of agricultural leaders.

Through intentional, career-connected lessons, our agriculture educators give students the opportunity to explore all facets of the agricultural industry and discover the many pathways available to them.

Our educators are the heart of their classrooms. They give so much of themselves to support, challenge, and celebrate their students—and their impact reaches far beyond the classroom.

We are so lucky to have such dedicated agriculture educators shaping the future of agriculture in New York!

Thank you for all that you do!
