Thank you so much to everyone that attended, bid, bought, donated, or supported the auction on Saturday night! Thanks to the generosity of our community we were able to make our 10th auction a huge success! From scholarships, to over-night conferences, CDE’s, Ag trade shows, and welding room projects, your support allows all of these things to happen. Thank you!

This is so cool. Shawn Swartzentruber outdid himself with this bench made from salvaged wood from Honeywell Grade School. Be sure to come out to The Legion this Saturday at 6PM to bid on this very unique handmade item!

Auction night is always so much fun, but we’re doing so much more than bidding on items. We’re supporting some great kids and allowing them to do big things in agriculture. Hoopeston Area Alum, Sadie Drayer, has benefited so much from the support of the Alumni FFA and the community.

“The opportunities I have been granted through the funding and support of our alumni have allowed me to build a network in a worldwide industry and I am confident that will assist in my future career.”

“Scholarship funds have allowed me to attend conferences, be involved in the U of I’s judging team, and experience new segments of the agriculture industry. I’ve traveled from New York to Colorado, which wouldn’t have been possible without your financial support.”

“I hope to be able to support farmers, ranchers, and students with the knowledge I have gained and eventually give back to the agricultural industry as much as it has given to me.”
