Celebrating a huge milestone for Molokai Robotics 🤖🩵

Congratulations to Coach Edwin Mendija on being selected as one of five recipients of the 2026 Inspiration All-Star Award and for his upcoming recognition in the global RECF STEM Hall of Fame. 15 years of dedication, leadership, and heart poured into this program—and it truly shows.

We had the chance to celebrate him surrounded by family, friends, and alumni who’ve all been impacted by his work. It was a full-circle moment, especially getting to connect with Dan Mantz from the REC Foundation.

Mahalo Coach Edwin for everything you’ve done for Molokai Robotics and our community. This recognition is more than deserved 💫

MOLOKAʻI IS WORLDS-BOUND ONCE AGAIN!

Huge news: We have officially qualified for the 2026 VEX Robotics World Championship in St. Louis - our third consecutive qualification in a row! Our students have worked tirelessly to represent the Friendly Isle on the global stage, but now we need your help to get there.

THE GOAL: $40,000

Moving a team, robots, and gear from a small island to the mainland is a massive undertaking. We are raising funds to cover:

Travel: Inter-island & Trans-Pacific flights.

Lodging: Staying safe and rested in St. Louis.

Logistics: Shipping our robots and essential tech.

Registration: Tournament fees for the world stage.
