2020-21 MARCHING BAND SIGN UPS!

We are going to GO FOR IT! A lot is still in the air but we are going to be PREPARED!

Any student who will be in 8th through 12th Grade can sign up for Marching Band?

Haven't done marching Band before? Not sure? Please watch this short clip by Senior Eponine Farber about what Marching Band REALLY is - A FAMILY! Join our family and be part of one of the best things in our school and community!

We (the band) work with every other fall activity in and out of school! Play a fall sport? NOT A PROBLEM? Travel sports? NOT A PROBLEM? Dance? Gymnastics? Job? NOT A PROBLEM! Worried about marching and playing? NOT A PROBLEM. Any of your fears holding you back from this AMAZING group of students will not be a worry. Our students will tell you - THIS IS THE BEST GROUP on campus for accepting ALL students and having a caring, loving community of fanstastic students and family. Be part of something more than music. Senior Spotlight #12 - Megan Ledgerwood!

"After high school, I'll be attending Robert Morris University to study Cybersecurity. One of my favorite band memories was from last year's season. It was at a football game, and we had just performed an amazing show and played with our hearts, and I was reminded of why I fell in love with band from the start. Being able to create such wonderful things with some very amazing and dedicated people has been such a wonderful experience that I can't wait to continue at RMU."

Senior Spotlight #11 - Kaitlyn Woodling

"After high school, I will be attending Penn State University to major in Secondary Math Education. My favorite band memory was Senior Night because I knew that it would be the last time I would ever perform on our home field as a marching band member. It was such a special night because we recognized all of the seniors and the impact that each of them had on the band program. Marching band has given me so many memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I can not wait to go to Penn State and watch the Blue Band."

Senior Spotlight #10 - Aidan Cox

"After High School, I will be attending Hiram College and pursuing a degree in Biological Engineering. My favorite memory was when I became section leader. At first I was afraid because I had never lead a group before and most people knew was quiet and not very Imperious like some people generally think of as a leader. My section however was a great group and they followed my quiet leadership. Now I'm not afraid to lead groups though I'm still quiet. I look forward to doing the same in College and afterwards."

"After high school I plan to go to CCBC for Mathematics. One of my favorite band memories is sitting in the stands during the football games. It was so fun to be with all of my friends and just play music together. Those are the moments I’ll take with me when i leave high school. "

Senior Spotlight #7 - Michael Vattimo

"After school I plan to get a job for a year after and weigh my options out. I aspire to be in the military one day. My favorite band memory is the very first marching band show I ever did. I was really nervous because I didn't want to mess up. My hands were shaking so bad, but I still played my part. Afterwards I felt really good and didn't get nervous after that performance."
