🔥 ANOTHER GREAT DAY AT RETREAT! 🔥

We had another great day of services today, and we are so thankful for what the Lord is doing! Every service this week, we have had students on the altar seeking God. 🙏

In the morning, Bro. Barry Goodman preached a powerful message on “The Camouflage Gospel” from 2 Corinthians 4:3-4.

In the evening, Dr. Alton Beal, President of Ambassador Baptist College, brought a powerful message entitled “The Bo***ge of Bitterness” from Hebrews 12:15.

We were reminded from Scripture that no matter what has happened in our lives, God can help us forgive, let go, and get over it. We don’t have to remain bound by bitterness. There is freedom through Christ!

Please continue to pray for our young people, our speakers, and the services still ahead. We are praying that the Lord continues to work in hearts and lives in a mighty way! 🙏🔥

🌟 First Elementary Chapel — CHECK! 🌟

What an exciting first chapel at Mt. Calvary Christian Academy! While our upperclassmen are away enjoying their retreat, our younger crowd had the opportunity to gather together for a special chapel service.

Bro. Chris Whitehurst was our guest speaker and brought a powerful message from Matthew 5:15-16 and Acts 1:8, challenging our students to be a light for our Savior. 💡

We can shine our light by witnessing to others, sharing the Gospel, or simply telling someone what God is doing in our own lives. What a great lesson for our students as we begin a new school year!

We are excited to see what God is going to do through these young people! 🙏

What another great day at the school retreat! 🙌

We had young people at the altar during every service, seeking the Lord and making decisions that will impact their lives. What a blessing to see God working in the hearts of our young people!

Bro. Cody Zorn preached two powerful messages today. This morning, he preached from Acts 26 on the subject, “The Manner of Life from My Youth.” He made a powerful statement:

“Bad character and conduct begins as a child. So what we do today will determine what we will be when we are grown.”

Tonight, he preached from John 10:42 on the subject, “Do You Have a There?” Do you have that place, that moment, that “there” where you know that you know that you know you’re saved?

What a great day of preaching, worship, and decisions! We are thankful for what the Lord is doing at this retreat and are already looking forward to what He has in store for tomorrow! 🙏🔥

While the Big Kids Are Away, the Little Kids Will Play! 🎉📚

The first week of school is coming to a close, and we are going full force ahead! 💪

While our elementary kids are the “older kids” this week, it certainly hasn’t slowed them down when it comes to learning, growing, and having fun! 📖✏️

We’ve had such a fun first week, and it’s already giving us a great glimpse of just how exciting this school year is shaping up to be! 🙌

What a first day of retreat for Mt. Calvary Christian Academy! 🙏

We made it safely to Harvest Time Bible Camp, got settled in, and already have our first service in the books! What a blessing it has been to see our students together and ready to hear from the Lord.

During Tuesday evening’s service, Bro. Barry Goodman brought the first message from Exodus 32:26 — “Who is on the LORD’S side?”

The Lord really moved during the altar call, with 25 of our young people coming forward to pray about decisions that need to be made and things that need to be dealt with in their lives. 🙏 What a powerful beginning to this retreat!

Please continue to pray that the Lord will work in the hearts of our students and that lives will be changed for His honor and glory.
