Project Patriot will require a power plant larger than anything that currently exists in Texas. This will sit on a hill 132 feet (elevation-wise) above our award winning and historic town square.
Please take 2 minutes to contest this power plant application with your own words or simply copy/paste some of the objections below:

Enter Permit Number: 180579
I object to the project based on the following reasons:
1. Its proximity to Granbury Airport (Thermal Pockets and Reflections on Runway Approach).
2. Its proximity to local communities (Industrial Immediately next to Residential).
3. Its proximity to the local hospital.
4. Its proximity to the local schools.
5. Its proximity to a local retirement home.
6. Its conflict with a previously approved thoroughfare plan passed in a previous bond vote.
7. The project will require a power plant / energy campus larger than anything that currently exists in Texas in a county that already has multiple power plants and is already dealing with air quality issues. There are also 5+ other projects in our county that will require additional on-site power generation through TCEQ. We ask TCEQ consider this when granting or denying applications. This is in a county that the state of Texas has singled out in the Texas Local Government Code (231.K) as a place of recreation for the residents of the entire state, not a sacrificial zone for industry.
