Reminder: The second half of the Energy Ventures Series restarts tomorrow evening. January 26, 2016 at 5:30pm - 7pm. Sultan Ventures will continue to be hosting us in their office space at 900 Fort Street Mall (pioneer plaza), #1888, Honolulu HI 96813. This week we will be having a lab on energy production basics, if you are planning on going into the energy industry it is important to have an understanding of how the energy is produced, and you may find that a surprising number of individuals don’t have this understanding. Thank you for signed up for the Energy Ventures Series in Honolulu. Tonight’s meeting will be a bit different, there is a chance to see the upcoming start ups of Honolulu make their pitches. This provides a great networking opportunity to meet those who are already familiar with the start up process locally and to see what makes for a great pitch for your own future start up.
So please meet up with us at HonNewTech: Double Threat Pitch Off at the YWCA at 1040 Richards Street, Honolulu, HI 96813. I will also be looking for students at the normal location at Sultan Ventures before heading down at 5:45.

InnovateHER Challenge:Sultan Ventures is presenting the InnovateHER 2016 Hawaii Challenge in partnership with the Small Business Administration (SBA) and Microsoft. The competition is looking for innovative products and services across the U.S. that help impact and empower the lives of women and families. The Hawaii winner has a chance to head to Washington D.C. for the national InnovateHER Challenge where Microsoft has sponsored $70,000 in prizes.
