Down 9.4 Ibs while eating ice cream every single day. Here are 4 things that will help you do something similar for yourself!
1. To get the fastest results, you need to track your calories. It isn't the only way you can approach nutrition for weight loss, but it is the fastest route there.
2. You have to be prepared and practice forward thinking. If you know you're going out to dinner, look at the menu ahead of time, decide what you'll have and plan your other meals for the day around that.
3. The amount of food you eat matters alot to determine how full and satisfied you are after eating. A full belly will make being in a calorie deficit much easier because you wont be dealing with as much hunger.
4. You CANNOT mess this up. You literally cannot fail, unless you quit. You won't be perfect and that's totally normal. If you have a slip up, just move on.
I hope you see that it's possible to lose weight and include the foods you enjoy. The ice cream, cookies, candy, pizza, you name it.

This meal right here would have been the beginning of a terrible month long food binge.
I would have sat there and felt guilty while crunching on my sweet potato fries.
Stuffing myself with as much food as I could because I had been restricting myself for weeks.
Cutting my calories drastically, doing an hour of cardio on top of my strength training workouts.
And denying all of the foods that I loved.
Feeling disgusted and totally stuffed after all the free bread, appetizers, and my food.
Of course, I would say yes when the waiter asked if we wanted a dessert menu.
I'm telling you all this because there is a better way to approach weight loss.
One without giving up the foods and snacks you love.
One where you don't feel completely miserable all day.

Jenn came to me feeling frustrated and stuck.
She had been struggling with weight her whole life and would constantly yoyo diet.
She tried all the fad diets.
Weight Watchers
Low carb
NO carb, etc.
She was walking 2 miles per day.
Drinking a gallon of water every day.
And ate healthy, but she still could not get the results that she wanted.
So she signed up for our coaching program in December, and we started a reverse diet to help speed her metabolism up and build some muscle.
She was eating 1300-1500 cals a day, and we got that up to 2218 cals a day while still losing some weight over the course of a few months.
There were times when she was frustrated at her progress and anxious about seeing results, not knowing if it would actually happen.
So we would get on a call. I would remind her why we are doing what we are doing and why things are happening, and she calmed down and pushed forward.
She trusted in me and trusted in the process, and now that we are in the Fat Loss Acceleration phase of the program, she is seeing all the fruits of her labor.
She is a perfect example of what it looks like to trust the process and to stay consistent with things even when doubt creeps in.
I couldn’t be more proud of her and all of the progress she has made, and I can't wait to see all of the progress she continues to make going forward. 😌
