EMA is a UH Mānoa RIO (Registered Independent Organization) which seeks to promote world music and cultures through education, service, and performance.

We use music to help others understand social differences and to encourage mutual cooperation. Although the registered organization has members who are University of Hawaii students, the registered organization is independent of the University and does not represent the views of the University. The registered organization is responsible for its own contacts, acts, or omissions.
