Thank you to Uncle Joel and Uncle Dean for coming and doing an amazing STEM lesson with some of our sixth graders! They learned how to make bread, yummy! Not only did they learn important life skills such as measuring and following directions, they also learned how to work together as a TEAM! Mahalo!

The Hawaiʻi State Department of Education will resume normal operations at most public schools statewide on Tuesday, Aug. 18, following post-storm campus assessments and recovery efforts. All state and complex area offices will reopen on Tuesday.

Please note that some schools will only be closed to students but open for staff to report, while a few will be closed to both students and staff. See the detailed list by island.
