Yesterday was bittersweet as we celebrated our nursery school graduates. 🎓🩵

It feels like just yesterday they walked through our doors, and now they are ready for their next adventure, at the “big school”. Ms. Jules and Ms. Jackie have been so blessed to watch these amazing children grow this year, gaining confidence, making friends, learning new things, and filling our classroom with laughter every day.

To our graduates, we are so proud of each and every one of you. Though it's hard to say goodbye, we know you are ready to spread your wings and do wonderful things.

To our families, thank you for trusting us with your precious children and allowing us to be part of such a special chapter in their lives. Your support and partnership have meant so much to us.

We will miss these little faces more than words can say, but our hearts are full knowing how bright their futures are. Congratulations, graduates! Once a part of our HCNS nursery school family, always a part of our HCNS nursery school family. 💙✨

We’ve been busy the past two weeks diving into all things weather and soaking up those spring vibes! 🌸☀️ From learning about sunshine, rain, and clouds to enjoying lots of outdoor playtime, it’s been a joyful mix of discovery and fresh air. We’re loving the bright sunshine, and all the smiles that come with it!

This week in nursery school we had so much fun learning all about bunnies! 🐰 The children also got creative and made their own chicks in an egg craft, and chalk bunnies, which turned out adorable.

To finish off the week, we enjoyed the beautiful weather with an Easter egg hunt outside. The kids had a wonderful time searching for eggs and celebrating the start of spring together.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️

We had so much fun celebrating today at nursery school! The kids tried some Irish dancing, practiced their letters with a leprechaun letter sorting activity, and got creative building a trap to try to catch our sneaky little leprechaun.

Even though we didn’t catch him, he must have visited while we weren’t looking because he left us some yummy cookies! The children also had a great time designing and making their own leprechaun traps.

What a lucky and fun filled day! 💚

HCNS is now accepting enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year! 🍎

Classes run Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9:00–11:30 AM. We also plan to offer an optional 1 hour wrap around program for children who will be attending the PM UPK program at Honeoye and need a morning program with busing to HCS. (This program will be available depending on the number of families interested)

Please note that our payment structure has changed for the upcoming year. Tuition will now cover the entire school year instead of being split by semester, and we will offer a couple of payment plan options.

We had a DINO 🦖 MITE week learning all about dinosaurs! We went on a dinosaur hunt, created a super cool volcano, dug for fossils in our mini sensory bins and did a mystery Dino sort ! We even got to enjoy some extra outdoor play earlier in the week because the weather was so beautiful!
We hope everyone has a great weekend, and we can’t wait to see you all on St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️

I know I’m a little late, but Happy Valentine’s Day from our Little Learners! ❤️
We had such a great week learning all about friendship and making Valentine’s for our families. The kids had so much fun spreading love and kindness!

What a great first week back at nursery school! 🎉

The circus came to town last week, so we decided to create our very own “circus” right in our classroom. The kids had a blast using their imaginations, playing games, and showing off their silly and creative sides.

Best of all, everyone was so excited to see their friends again after break. Lots of smiles, hugs, and happy reunions made it a wonderful start to the new year.

We can’t wait to see what next week holds! 😊
