Day 2 of State FFA Convention is complete!

A large contingency of our chapter members competed in several state level competitions as well as were recognized on stage at the Second General Session. These members were recognized for receiving their State FFA Degrees and winning state CDE’s throughout the school year.

Adam Clark, Jackson Ouzts, McCray Pruitt, and Ryan Santor competed in the State Gator Wars CDE hosted by John Deere. During this event, students had to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on a John Deere Gator. As state finalists, they will be recognized on stage at the Fourth General Session on Thursday where they will find out their placing.

Lexi Ramirez competed in the SCFFA Agriscience Fair. For this event, Lexi conducted a taste test on consumer preference of conventional beef versus grass - fed beef. She then created a display and report that detailed her research findings. After her interview, she finished 2nd in Division III of the Social Systems category.

Ashlee Campbell, Adam Clark, Boone Hanks, Carver Peek, McCray Pruitt, and MJ Taylor each received their State FFA Degrees at the Third General Session.
