Well... it appears your Cyber Viking Coach had a slight system malfunction. 🤦‍♂️

While planning tomorrow's Cyber Owl Saturday, I completely forgot that it's Father's Day Weekend! Apparently even cybersecurity professionals occasionally fail to update their internal calendars. 😆

As a result, there will be NO Hondo Cyber Owls practice this Saturday.

Instead, spend some quality time with your dads, grandpas, stepdads, mentors, and the other father figures in your life. They deserve a day free from firewalls, phishing emails, and CyberPatriot challenges.

Linux commands you should know.

Quick Linux Tip #11

Need to find exactly when you ran a command without scrolling endlessly through shell history?

First, enable timestamps:

$ export HISTTIMEFORMAT="%F %T "

Then search your history:

$ history | grep ssh

This lets you quickly find commands and see the exact date and time they were executed.

For even faster searching, press Ctrl+R and start typing. Bash will search your history interactively as you type.

Once you know these shortcuts, you'll never spam the up arrow again.
