Nicole Griffin (Head Kindergarten/ First Grade Teacher)

Hello! My name is Mrs. Griffin and I am beyond excited for the opportunity to be a part of the team at Citrus Learning Academy. As a mother of four, I truly do understand how important it is to have caring, trustworthy people helping to guide your children each day. Along with my experience as a parent I have worked in childcare for over four years where I have supported children’s learning, growth, and daily routines in a safe and positive environment. I was also a dive instructor which really helped me to understand different learning abilities by working with a multitude of people varying in all ages and cultures. I graduated from Florida State University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Political Science and a minor is International Relations. It was there that I learned hard work, organization, and communication skills that I know are important when working with children and families. With my own children involved in various sports and attending a private school I understand the value of finding a school and programs that help children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I look forward to getting to know each of your families and supporting your children this year!
