We are excited that the Scholastic Book Fair is back! We can't wait to partner with you, parents/grandparents/loved ones, to grow the love of reading in our students. For the safety of all of our students, the Parent Visiting Hours & Family Night will be the only times visitors will be allowed in the book fair. We truly appreciate your cooperation in this!

As I sit here this evening thinking about everything that needs to be done to be completely ready for tomorrow, all kinds of emotions surface!! Excited, anxious, hopeful, scared (yes, I said scared). 😳 😊
This is my 31st year to start a new school year. I am so happy to be back among friends and family. I can’t wait to meet all my new kids!! Our teachers have worked tirelessly and are ready to kick off the school year!! I have an amazing staff and I know it will be a great year!!
We ask to please be patient with us as we work out some procedures with drop off and dismissal. Sometimes you need to walk through it a few times to make sure you have everything covered and have all the kinks worked out. Safety is our MAIN concern.

Drop off in the morning will be by the cafeteria. You are welcome to park and walk your child in for the next few days to help them with their fear and anxiety. Breakfast will begin at 7:30.

Dismissal for after school at 3:15 depends on if your child is a bus rider or a car pick-up.
All bus riders will be picked up by the gym on Pettit.

If you plan to park and pick up your child, please park in the parking in front of the school or in the overflow parking on the corner of Pettit and 2nd street.
If you want to just stay in your car and pick up your child, please line up on She She. Please do not line up on both sides of the road. We will have signs up with directions. If you will be a regular picking up from you car please let us know and we will make car signs for you. This will help the car line move quickly.

Thank you all for allowing us the educate your child!! We can’t wait to watch them grow!!!

I am truly happy to be a Hominy Buck…again!!! As I was told today…I’m recycled!!😂
