We had a wonderful turnout for our first PTO meeting of the year and loved seeing so many families at Open House last night. We’re excited for all that’s ahead and so thankful for the parents, teachers, staff, and volunteers who help make Hall-Kent such a special place.

An UPDATE was made to the signup form!! Please feel free to volunteer for multiple classrooms if you’d like. Signing up for more than one class is highly encouraged and won’t disqualify you from being selected. Since we want to make sure everyone has a fair shot and we can’t guarantee specific rooms, volunteering for each of your children’s classes is a good way to increase your chances of being chosen.

Reminder: Because of interest level, we cannot guarantee you will be selected. Thank you so much for your support and willingness to help out!

Hall Kent PTO’s favorite thing to do is to support our teachers and staff! We love this school and we are so happy for the hard work they do! The boat tote by L.L.Bean and backpacks by Nike were a fun way to help welcome our new teachers.

Thanks to all our new staff and returning staff - you make our school a place where kids can thrive and grow 🫶🏼.

We are so close to our back to school days! We thought we’d share some helpful info that folks are always scrambling to look for. Here are some important dates to remember…

** Class List: Aug. 7th

** Room Parent: BIG CHANGES HERE! Multiple dates, but starts Aug. 7th
- Interest Form: Room Parent forms open at 7 PM on August 7th for one week. No rush to be at your computer at a certain time! (The description of the role has changed so if you choose to fill out a form be sure to take note of those details).
  - Selection: Two parents are selected at random using a Google random number generator. This approach gives a chance for more parents/guardians to be involved!
  - Screening process will be put into place to ensure effectiveness in this role.

** Meet Teacher & Visit Spirit Store: Aug. 10th

** First Day of School: Aug. 12th!!

** Open House: Aug.18th

We are excited to get this year started at the school we love to be apart of and support!
