Christian based child care center that has focused on academic, social and emotional growth in a safe environment since 2003!

Bright Start offers quality care for infants 6 weeks to children 13 years of age. Bright Start was established in 2003 in Homewood, Il. Each classroom, from infants to school-age children, has age-appropriate environments to encourage children to learn, play, and explore. Furthermore, we also strive to surpass the regulations mandated by DCFS. What makes us unique is our Christian based curriculum

and the integration of the Bible and prayer. We strongly feel these are key aspects to introduce to children beginning at a young age. We are educational based and have the Illinois State Board of Education program integrated in our preschool classes. Our staff are very professional, friendly and nurturing and by collaborating with parents, we celebrate the individuality of each child by recognizing their strengths and building upon them.

I’m thrilled to share some incredible news about one of our very own students, Kevin Bond III, who has just become a published author!

Kevin, who has been part of our Bright Start family since his time in the Twos class, has released his debut children’s book, Welcome to Atlanta: Where There’s a Lot of New Places. Inspired by a memorable family trip and infused with a touch of divine magic, Kevin’s book beautifully reflects his creativity and faith—qualities nurtured during his time here at Bright Start.

We couldn’t be prouder of Kevin and his amazing accomplishment! To support and celebrate his journey, we’ve purchased a few copies for the center, and we encourage you to check out his book as well. It’s available now on Amazon.

This story is a wonderful example of the boundless potential in each of our children, and we’re honored to have been part of Kevin’s journey. Let’s rally around him as a community and show our support!

Graduation Season is Upon us! Our Bright Start Kindergartners will be graduating Friday, June 7th at 6:00pm. Our preschool classes will have their “Moving Up” program as well. This school year went by so fast! We are so proud of our children in our care. They have learned so much!

*Reminder we close at 5:00pm tomorrow in order to prepare for the program.
