Good evening, here’s the flyer for our alumni game on October 10th!

Fill out the form through the QR code on the flyer, and sign up for the BAND app through the link in the form to get access to the music.

You were in court to make as many of the Wednesday rehearsal as you can, but I will only requiring one practice if you wish to participate in the halftime homecoming court ceremony where we will be playing Hey Baby! and Boots on the Ground.

You are obviously welcome to attend as many as you can, we will be dedicating time to both the homecoming court show and the stand tunes that we play.

Wednesday, October 8 is our spaghetti dinner concert; more details to follow on that within the next week .

Good morning,

I would like to officially announce our end of the year concert for Tuesday, May 20th @ 7PM in the South Dade Auditorium.

Come see special performances from our ensembles (including a collaborative performance with our alumni and current students) as we cap off a year that marks a new period and direction for the South Dade Band Program. I hope to see you there!

Long awaited update on how the program is doing;

We are heading into Concert MPA tomorrow at Hialeah Gardens. This last month, the South Dade Band has been working on a joint concert with Doral Academy and Miami Dade College Kendall Campus.

I would also like to announce the End of the Year Showcase on May 20th @ 7pm in the auditorium. Along with that, I would like to put together an Alumni Band for this concert. The details are in this google form, and I will be making a separate post with a flyer for the concert and one for the alumni band as well.

I hope to see some familiar faces, either in the ensemble or in the crowd. Please let me know if you have any questions. My email is [email protected], or you can message this account!
