Expressions Dance Company presents A Holiday Fantasy!
Do you want to be part of the magic of Expressions Dance Company’s A Holiday Fantasy, ?

We are looking for dancers to audition for an “EXTRA” role in this special holiday production!

🎄AUDITION
• Saturday, September 26, 2026
• 4:00–5:00 PM

📍 LOCATION
Donna Lee Studio of Dance • 61 NE 14th Street Homestead, FL 33030

🩰 ATTIRE
Black leotard • Pink tights • Pink ballet shoes

⭐ AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
• Must be 7 years old by December 12, 2026.
• Must be enrolled in Primary Ballet I or higher at Donna Lee Studio of Dance.
• Must have performed in at least ONE Donna Lee Studio dance recital.
• Must commit to rehearsals EVERY WEEKEND from the time of the audition through showtime.

❤️ AUDITION FEE
• There is a $25 non-refundable audition fee due on or before the day of the audition.
• Preferred payment: Venmo -DanceCompany
• If you do not have Venmo, you may pay by cash or check payable to South Dade Expressions.

🎫 PERFORMANCE DATES
• December 12 & 13, 2026 at The Seminole Theatre

Please join us in welcoming Christian Woods to the Donna Lee Studio of Dance family! 🔥

Christian joins our Team as an exciting and versatile educator, bringing an impressive professional background and a passion for helping dancers grow as artists and performers. With training and experience spanning dance, skating, music, and performance, Christian brings a unique perspective and energy to the studio.

A graduate of the CLI Conservatory, Christian has trained with some of the industry’s most respected artists, including Teddy Forance, Jeremy Strong, Marlee Hightower, Tyce Diorio, and Brian Friedman. His diverse training includes hip-hop, street styles, contemporary, jazz funk, and theater jazz, allowing him to bring versatility, musicality, and dynamic performance quality to his teaching.

Christian’s professional credits include CLI Creative Film, Slidin’, Kill the Lights, and One Night Ting, as well as major live events including Rolling Loud Miami, the TikTok Tailgate in Phoenix, and Coca-Cola Stadium in Dubai. Beyond dance, Christian is also a skilled roller skater, beatboxer, and tenor singer, making him a true multi-talented performer and creative.

As an educator, Christian is passionate about encouraging dancers to build confidence, develop their individuality, and approach every performance with intention and artistry. We are so excited to have his experience, energy, and perspective become part of our dancers’ training this season.

Please join us in welcoming Kevin Hernandez to the Donna Lee Studio of Dance family!

Kevin will join our Company Faculty as a Ballet instructor, bringing extensive professional experience and a strong commitment to dancer development. Many of our students had the opportunity to work with Kevin during our Annual Expressions Summer Intensive, where his technical expertise, teaching, and connection with our dancers made a lasting impression.

From his professional career with the Teresa Carreño Ballet in Venezuela to performances and collaborations throughout the United States, Kevin brings a wealth of experience both on and off the stage. As an educator, he is passionate about helping dancers strengthen their technique, build discipline, and continue reaching their highest potential.

We are looking forward on continuing to invest in exceptional educators who contribute to the training, growth, and future of our dancers.

Master Class Series: Jessica Solomon!

A special moment with Jessica Solomon, a Donna Lee girl herself and now the owner of her own dance studio!

Jessica has also had the opportunity to work with some of our dancers, including Cara and Hadley, making this full-circle moment even more meaningful. 🩷

From student to studio owner, the Donna Lee legacy continues to grow, inspire, and come full circle.

Alumni Spotlight: Front and center! ✨

A special moment shared by Korey Johnson, who has judged Expressions auditions for many years, with Expressions alumni Rosselyn Rodriguez front and center.

Korey was also at the same game as current senior dancer, Sophia Lopez, continuing to support and witness the growth of Donna Lee dancers both on and off the stage.

From one generation to the next, the Donna Lee legacy continues. 🤍

: Guest Master Series 🫂

This summer, we welcomed back one of our Alumni dancers, Mayrelle, for her third year teaching Dance Camp and choreographing artistry and passion into a few solos. Did you know Mayrelle has danced at Donna Lee since she was just 3 years old?

From student to teacher, Mayrelle continues to be part of the Donna Lee legacy and, more importantly, part of the Family. 🤍

We’re proud to watch our dancers grow, return, and give back to the next generation. Thank you☺️
