AFJROTC/FL 801's mission is to develop citizens of character dedicated to serving their nation and community.

AFJROTC/FL 801 provides leadership training and an aerospace science program for high school students at Homestead Senior High School. Cadets are offered a wide variety of curricular and extra-curricular activities. AFJROTC Drill Teams and Color Guards 12/03/2014

These are some of the early Drill Teams and Color Guards of AFJROTC/FL-801. Since we were somewhat small in size, there wasn't a lot of competitions to compete iin, but we were always invited by the City of Homestead to participate in the city's annual Veterans Day Parade and the Homestead Rodeo Parade.

It is regret that I pass the following information, but I learned earlier this evening that LT COL Robert E. Thompson, USAF (RET) passed away on January 12, 2005 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. He was born on September 4, 1932 in Clinton, Indiana. LT COL Thompson is interred at Arlington National Cemetery in Section 6-QQ, Row 14, Site 2.
