Starting Monday, September 28, all students will be required to have their school ID with them. Please make sure your student is prepared each day with their ID.

Students will receive uniform infractions for not having their ID.

Dear Somerset Families,

We would like to make our families aware of an upcoming milling and paving project along SW 328 Street that may impact arrival and dismissal traffic around our school.

Construction is scheduled to begin Wednesday, September 23, 2026, and is expected to last approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

The affected areas include:

1. SW 328 Street: Both lanes from SW 132 Avenue to SW 137 Avenue
2. SW 328 Street: Westbound lane from SW 137 Avenue to SW 139 Court
3. SW 328 Street: Both lanes from Miami-Dade County Fire Station #66 (3100 SW 328 Street) to just west of Park of Commerce Boulevard

During construction, families may experience temporary lane closures, increased traffic, and delays, particularly during our regular arrival and dismissal times.

Parents, please plan to leave at least 10 minutes earlier than usual to allow additional travel time and help ensure students arrive at school on time. We also ask everyone to exercise caution while traveling through the construction areas.

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and continued support as our surrounding community undergoes these improvements.
