It is safe to say we had a SUPER fun day at the Meta Shaw Coleman Children’s Imagination Station! 🧬🔬🔭🧪🦋🐊🛫📚✏️

Our SOUL students had the opportunity to explore over 20 interactive exhibits, each designed to use hands-on learning to introduce children to Georgia industries such as agriculture, aviation, coding, engineering, health sciences, music, and so much more!

It was so neat watching our students’ creativity soar in this environment. One of my favorite parts of the day was seeing what each student was naturally drawn to and watching them explore, create, problem solve, and learn through play.

Days like today remind me just how important it is to give our students opportunities to learn outside of the classroom and discover new interests along the way. We had the BEST day! ❤️

Awards Day 2026! We had a great time celebrating all of our students’ hard work! Thank you to all of our parents and teachers who showed up to support our students. We are so proud of each and every one of them and all they have accomplished this year! 🎉💙

The SOUL Class had an amazing time on our end-of-the-year trip to Fancy Girl Farms! 🌿💛

This special trip was a way to celebrate all of the hard work, growth, and accomplishments our students have achieved this year. Students enjoyed a delicious home-cooked meal and explored the beautiful gardens.

During lunch, students practiced table etiquette and communication skills by ordering their own meals independently, a huge accomplishment and great real-world practice! We were so proud of how respectful and responsible they were throughout the trip.

This has become one of our favorite traditions to end the school year, and we are so thankful for the memories made together. We are so proud of each and every one of our Outstanding Learners! 💚🌻

Such a wonderful day last Friday exploring downtown Homerville! Last week, our class learned about important community places and what we do at each one and then we got to visit them in person. It was such a meaningful, hands-on experience for our students, and they loved seeing their learning come to life!

We visited several locations including the banks, post office, courthouse, hospital, doctors’ offices, the depot, and more.

Thank you to each of the businesses and community members for allowing us to come in and explore! We truly appreciate your support!

It’s testing season, which means our students need a strong start to the day! Students created their very own breakfast bowls by following step-by-step directions. They chose their own toppings and learned the importance of eating a healthy breakfast to fuel their minds and bodies for testing. 🥣✨

We had a blast on our trip to Southern Grace Farms in Enigma! 🍓 Students got to pick fresh strawberries and learn all about how they’re grown and make their way into stores. They even planted their own sunflower! 🌻

After all that fun, we enjoyed some delicious strawberry ice cream before heading into the kitchen to put our strawberries to good use. We made strawberry banana pudding, strawberry shakes, and a strawberry cake, everything turned out so yummy!
