Our fall break FFA celebrations continue with Banks County Middle School!

Congratulations to the BCMS Junior team for earning SECOND PLACE in the Environmental Natural Resources (ENR) Career Development Event!

We proudly recognize Addison Boyer, Stella Dalton, Micah Tate Milford, and Cana Jo Milford, along with FFA advisor Kellie Daniel. Their dedication and preparation showcase the knowledge and skills developed through Agricultural Education.

“The time and effort spent studying and practicing for this event were evident,” shared Amanda Keener, North Georgia Forestry Teacher. “I am very proud of the teachers and students who worked hard to demonstrate the knowledge and skills learned in this particular area of Agricultural Education.”

Thank you to Mrs. Daniel for her dedication to students and to our school leaders for supporting these opportunities.

Our 8th grade scientists just wrapped up their unit on the physical and chemical properties of elements!

To bring the Periodic Table to life, Mrs. Kinsey and Mrs. Anderson challenged their students to transform real elements into superheroes or supervillains based on their unique characteristics! Way to make learning fun and memorable, 8th grade!

Our 7th grade scientists spent the first nine weeks diving deep into the microscopic world of plant and animal cells!

To wrap up the unit, Mrs. Cantrell and Mrs. Samples brought the learning to life by having their students create edible cells! From candy organelles to frosting cytoplasm, learning never tasted so good!

Beginning October 12, 2026, we will begin using SchoolCash Online for all payments affiliated with your child's school. It is free, secure, and takes less than 2 minutes to set up.

When you register, you will not see any schools until October 12, 2026. The program will go live on that day and you will have the option to choose schools.
