Holyoke Community College Alumni Association The Holyoke Community College Foundation provides stewardship for more than 160 scholarships that assist HCC students.

The HCC Alumni Association strengthens alumni engagement with the college; develops networking opportunities for alumni and current students; and helps students discover their career paths. The Foundation also administers nearly 50 funds that have been established in support of specific programs and initiatives.

ACT I: THE ABOUT
Hi, I'm Trevor! I've been acting my whole life, and I'm really glad to be helping HCC with this new theater fest. I've made many short films, writing, directing, editing, and acting in them. I've been in Hello, Dolly!, Urinetown, and Once Upon a Mattress. I'm a first-year student at HCC, starting my journey toward a communications degree. Hope you enjoy what we do!!

ACT II: TREVOR & THE THEATER
I've been acting for a very long time, and I always love being part of a show. I love watching shows too. The best part is seeing everything come together and how people can create something truly magical when they work together.

Local theater helps people access the wonderful world of theater right next door to where they live.

ACT I: THE ABOUT
I'm an alum and a local community volunteer. My career is in customer service, and I'm a serial entrepreneur: I'm a real estate broker and company owner, a mobile notary public, and an ordained minister. I acted in plays in high school, college, and summer camps, and in recent years I've performed in The Va**na Monologues. I love to keep busy, whether I'm working, networking, or spending time with family and friends. I have two rescue cats, and my passions are traveling, skiing, swimming, photography, and visiting new places and restaurants.

ACT II: TRACY & THE THEATER
Theater is fun, sometimes funny, and a way to show my personality and be somebody else.

It's important to have the arts, as well as entertainment. Life is too short not to enjoy it!

ACT I: THE ABOUT
I'm an actor, improviser, writer, director, comedian, and teaching artist from Holyoke, Massachusetts.

I teach improv and acting at the Hope Center for the Arts and the Springfield Jewish Community Center, as well as with Northampton Improv at Quonk. I regularly perform improv with Northampton Improv at Quonk, Happier Valley Comedy in Hadley, and Sea Tea Comedy Theater in Hartford, Connecticut.

ACT II: TOM & THE THEATER
Theater is the most important collaborative art of storytelling. Whether I'm acting, writing, or directing, the common thread is expressing a narrative with a team and/or for an audience in a way that explores the unknown, takes risks, and faces our fears of humiliation, embarrassment, and vulnerability under the spotlight to reveal something about humanity. And we all get to feel something along the way.

The Phillips Theatre has been a place where I've learned and grown so much as an artist, a human, and a man. I've learned from amazing professors, directors, and peers what it means not just to be disciplined, committed, and skilled at my craft, but also to be kind, to be part of a team, and to do what I love.

ACT I: THE ABOUT
It's difficult to talk myself up, but I have grown, and I grow every day. When I first stepped through the doors of Holyoke Community College, I had one career goal. It led me to certain classes and to professors who saw potential in me that I never dreamed existed. My mentors gently pushed me from the vet tech program into the humanities, where I learned about others, history, art, science, and society, and I began to learn about me.

I graduated from HCC in 2019, then transferred to Mount Holyoke College and earned a bachelor's degree in science and psychology in 2024. I now work for BCI as a BT, working one on one with littles, taking data and making sure our programs help their progress. Learning through play is my favorite part of the job! When I'm not there, practically everything in the world floats my boat. ☺️

ACT II: SUE & THE THEATER
My first experience with theatre taught me that it is alive!!!

Local theatres are important to me because of Annie Baker.

ACT I: THE ABOUT
I'm a young actress who found my love for the performing arts at a very young age. I started off as a dancer, grew to love theatre, and I'm only going up from here! Along with a long résumé of plays and musicals, I've also been in commercials and modeling shows. I'm supporting this fundraising event to help raise money for other aspiring performers just like me.

ACT II: SOPHIA & THE THEATER
I love being able to step out of my own shoes, my reality and life, and into the shoes of a fictional character, whose interpretation is different for every actor who steps into them. Bringing a character to life and giving them thoughts, feelings, and emotions beyond what the script directly gives is what's so beautiful about theatre.

Local theatres are the foundation of one's love for theatre. Everyone has to start somewhere! It's so important that these resources are available to children and adults of any age when their arts journey begins.
