Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Welcome Back Party - including our wonderful Waverly staff! We hope everyone had a great time and is excited for another amazing school year! 🐾

A special thank you to DJ Gerard, the Sachem Public Library, Face Painting by Christine, The Cotton Candy Lady of LI, and our 5th Grade Committee for helping make the night so much fun!

And an extra special thank you to our PTA Executive Officers, who stepped up and worked together to plan and organize the event when we did not have a Chair. Your time, effort, and willingness to take on the extra work to make this event happen for our Waverly families is so appreciated. ❤️🖤

Today, on National PTA Appreciation Day, we want to recognize the incredible officers, committee chairs, and volunteers who give so much of themselves to Waverly. ❤️🐾

What often goes unseen are the hours behind every event, activity, fundraiser, and special moment - the planning, organizing, late-night messages, shopping, setting up, cleaning up, and countless little details. Our volunteers often sacrifice precious time with their own children and families to create memorable experiences for all of our Waverly children.

That kind of commitment is what makes our school community so special. To everyone who steps up, lends a hand, takes on a role, or simply says “How can I help?” - Thank you!

We see you. We appreciate you. And Waverly is a better place because of you. ❤️🖤🐾

Happy National PTA Appreciation Day!

Due to the weather advisories currently in place for this afternoon/evening, our Welcome Back event will be pulled indoors today. There will still be plenty of fun activities for our students and families including DJ, free face paint, and refreshments, cotton candy, ice cream truck, and food truck for purchase. We hope to see many of you there!
