👨‍🌾Our friend, Ryder brought his baby chicks to visit with us today!

🐥A huge thanks to his mom, Brittany Marley for bringing these four sweeties to hang with us this morning!!

🐣It was so much fun to learn about these little ones that the Marley’s hatched from their own chickens! 🐣🐓

🐖What a FUN FARM FRIDAY!!🐖

🐷It was PIG DAY!! 🐷
The wonderful Liz Shelton Geisler, mom of our friend Fred, brought three of the cutest baby pigs!!

👩‍🌾We were able to hold and touch the sweet pigs, and also learn all about how they live and grow on the farm!

🐖Although we could have kept these sweeties forever, we had to let the sleepy piglets go back to their mama!

🦜Next, we made bird feeders for our feathered friends out of Cheerios and pipe cleaners! We shaped them into enticing shapes and we will eagerly await our visitors!

🌈For our afternoon activity, we used play-doh to make fun new shapes, “cookies”, letters and more!

🏃‍♂️We got out our Friday energy in the gym with some “Floor is Lava” games!
We love using our number mats/ dominos for all sorts of new things!

🌉We even finished with a “Cross the river” teamwork game! We all did a GREAT JOB!!

👨‍🌾Dress like a Farmer Day!! 👩‍🌾

👖We dressed our BEST!

🗣️We discussed all kinds of farm animals and ways to care for them!

📚We read LOTS of ANIMAL books during read aloud!

🎨During ART, we created sheep- fit for a barn! 🐑

🎶We sang fun FARM and ANIMAL songs during MUSIC!

😊It was a wonderful day with our friends!!
