For all of my friends within an hour drive of Lansing, if you don't have plans the evening of Thursday, 8/1, then PLEASE come check out THE FINAL NIGHT of the 2024 Moneyball Pro-Am at Holt High School with games at 6 and 8pm!
And if you do have plans, cancel them. I promise you'll thank me!
If you need a reason to come, here are just a few:
1. It's the best family and community focused sports event EVER! Completely free, exceptionally high-level athletes, and a positive sports atmosphere where everyone is having a wonderful time!
2. Team Tri-Star Trust is in first place and playing in the Championship Game at 8pm! Tri-Star's higher purpose is to build genuine relationships that strengthen families and transform communities, and the is a perfect representation of that. I couldn't be happier that I've had the opportunity to sponsor a team this year, and we've got a great group of talented players, including MSU's Jaxon Kohler and Gehrig Normand! GO GREEN!
3. The money raised at concessions is a fundraiser that goes to benefit Holt Boys and Girls Basketball, as well as the Holt Education Foundation! The money spent at concessions supports our young Holt Rams girls and boys, and also ends up in the classroom through mini-grants that help our teachers educate our youth!
4. It supports my longtime friend and local small business owner, Desmond Ferguson, who has continued to be a champion for Holt in bringing this event to our community!
If that's not enough, I'm asking you to come out and say hi! I'll be there somewhere running around, and I can't wait to see you there!
