Join us for the Vegetables, Livestock, Markets and More! Field Day at Providence Organic Farm, organized by the Michigan Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP). It takes place on Tuesday, July 29 from 9am - 3pm, in Central Lake, MI.

Visit Providence Farm to learn from the farmers about raising and marketing vegetables and livestock sustainably and how to follow organic standards for pastures and livestock.

Hello urban farmers, growers, and producers!

Are you interested in sharing your experience and knowledge with pollination management on your farm? Would you like to help inform educational materials and events being created to enhance pollinator management and conservation in urban agriculture? What about the chance to win a $100 gift certificate?

The Bee Urban Growers Project (BUG) at Michigan State University is looking for urban farmers, growers, and producers over the age of 18 to complete our 10 minute 2024 Pollination Management Survey! There is no better way to learn how to farm than to actually farm! You'll choose either Keep Growing Detroit or the MSU Student Organic Farm in East Lansing as your hands-on learning site to plant, tend and harvest crops on a successful farm. But you’ll also connect with the full learning community for field trips to 20+ farms and during many days of interactive online learning. Join us on Mondays from February to November to make a plan for your farm, educational garden, homestead or non-profit agriculture venture.
