If it’s Friday, it’s Guy Harvey Day at AME! 🐬🩷
Our young scientists were hard at work today! One class explored the Florida Water Story, limestone, Florida’s waters, and the five oceans, while another dove into the fascinating world of echinoderms—with a special focus on sea stars!

🎉🐬 Congratulations to Coach Terri Ruise, our Fantastic Staff Member of the Week! 🐬🎉

Coach Ruise has been the queen of flexibility this week with all of our crazy weather! 🌧️☀️ She has an amazing way of making indoor PE just as fun as being outside, keeping our Dolphins moving, laughing, and having a blast no matter what Mother Nature throws our way!

We are so lucky to have Coach Ruise at AME! ❤️🐬👏

🐬💙 Enrichment is in full swing at AME!

Two weeks in, and our Dolphins are loving every minute! From engineering and pony beads to Runners Club, Chess Club, and so much more—there truly is something for everyone!

The best part? These before- and after-school clubs are led by our own amazing AME staff! ❤️

A huge thank you to our AME PTO for supporting these opportunities for our students. At AME, we believe in educating the whole child—and having a whole lot of fun along the way! 🐬✨

Dolly 🦋 leaves behind a legacy many may not realize. Parton, inspired by her father's inability to read and write, launched an early literacy program more than 30 years ago for families to foster a love of reading. Dolly Parton's Imagination Library gifts millions of books each month to children around the world from birth to five-years old.

More than 300 million books have filled mailboxes and been read as bedtime stories since the program started. We lost an amazing early childhood literacy advocate in Dolly Parton, but community organizations vow to carry on her spirit of giving. 🩷

We LOVE catching our Dolphins making great decisions and recognizing them with FIN Shoutouts! FIN represents the qualities we strive to show every day at AME: Friendship, Integrity, and Noteworthiness. 💙

These students were recently recognized for going above and beyond and showing what it means to Be Like FIN! We are so proud of you, Dolphins! 🐬👏❤️

📚🌉 STEM in Action at AME! 🐬
After reading Iggy Peck, Architect, our students were inspired to become engineers themselves! During STEM class with Mr. Davis, students used the Engineering Design Process to plan, create, test, and improve their very own bridges. We love seeing literature come to life through hands-on learning, creativity, and problem-solving! 💡🔨🌉

Congratulations to Mr. Jimmy Milhaven, our
Fin-tastic Staff Member of the Week! 🐬👏

Mr. Milhaven gives 100% to educating the whole child. When he’s not teaching, you’ll find him playing kickball with students at recess, shooting hoops on the basketball court, or leading awesome enrichment clubs like Young Entrepreneurs, Drone Club, and Stock Market Club!

We are so lucky to have this fourth-grade teacher extraordinaire at AME! ❤️🐬 Way to go, Mr. Milhaven!
