These students were chosen because they consistently demonstrate what it means to be safe, respectful, and responsible almost every single day.

🌞 Here is our last day of school information! There will be no afternoon Surround Care on Friday, June 5th. 🌞

❤️🎓 Today was a special day for our students and staff, as we held our annual 5th Grade Breakfast! It's always a little bittersweet, but we are so proud of these kids and know they will be amazing in middle school! Once a Sand Laker, always a Sand Laker! 🎓❤️

Earlier in May, Sand Lake 3rd graders Isaac F., Millie E., Jackson H., Atli D., Stella T., Mack M., Xander R., Greta F., and Xander B.-L. traveled to the Holmen Boys and Girls Club to participate in a space-themed LEGOpalooza, inspired by NASA's Project Artemis and put on by the Mississippi Valley Gifted and Talented Network. These young engineers were tasked with building a lunar base camp and keeping astronauts safe on the moon through different building challenges. These challenges included building a docking station, solar arrays, and living modules. Students did a great job collaborating, problem-solving, and using their creativity to tackle every challenge. A huge thank you to the high school volunteers and parents who shared their time and talents with us!
