🧠✨ Holmen Students Excel in the Noetic Learning Math Contest! ✨🧠

We’re proud to begin with an incredible achievement…

🏆 Nolan Staed earned National Honor Roll honors, scoring in the top 10% nationwide out of more than 60,000 participants in last fall’s Noetic Learning Math Contest. Even more impressive — Nolan was the only 7th grader in Wisconsin to achieve this distinction.

An outstanding accomplishment on a national stage!

This fall, 56 Holmen students in grades 3–8 participated in the Noetic Learning Math Contest, pushing their problem-solving and critical thinking skills even further. We’re excited to recognize our students who earned National Honorable Mention ribbons:

🎶 Holmen Middle School Musicians Shine at All-State! 🎶

Earlier this fall, several Holmen Middle School band students were nominated for the Wisconsin Concert Band Association (WCBA) All-State Junior Band, an honor ensemble made up of top middle school musicians from across the state. Students are nominated by their band directors and selected through a competitive review process by a state committee.

Those selected received their music in advance and prepared independently before coming together for an all-day rehearsal on Saturday, January 17, 2026. The experience culminated in a performance at the WCBA State Convention Finale Concert, held at Gantner Concert Hall on the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire campus.

Holmen Middle School is proud to recognize the six students selected for this prestigious honor:
