🌟 Congratulations to Holmen High School’s own Emersen Strangstalien! 🌟

We are thrilled to share that Emersen was recognized as the Outstanding High School Student at this year’s La Crosse Area Tribute to Outstanding Women event. 🎉✨

This recognition is a testament to Emersen’s hard work, leadership, and the positive impact she has within Holmen High School. Whether in the classroom, through her involvement, or in the way she supports those around her, Emersen continues to stand out as a student who leads with kindness, responsibility, and dedication.

Events like this highlight students who go above and beyond — and Emersen is a shining example of the excellence we are proud to see in the School District of Holmen.

Please join us in celebrating Emersen on this outstanding achievement! 👏
We are so proud of you, Emersen!

🏐🎒 Holmen Volleyball is teaming up with Holmen’s Hope Backpack Program this coming Thursday night (10/2)!! 🎒🏐

During our home game vs. Central, we’re partnering with Holmen’s Hope Backpack Program to support kids right here in our Holmen community. This program provides bags of food for middle and elementary students to take home each weekend during the school year, ensuring they have what they need beyond the classroom.

📦 We’ll be collecting donated food items from 5:00–7:30pm at Holmen High School. Please take a look at the food items listed as they have specific needs for packing. All donations stay local. We’d love your help in making a difference for kids across our district.

Please consider bringing items from the donation list and joining us in this effort! 🙌

Our goal with the Weekend Backpack Program this school year is to provide 2 breakfasts and 2 lunches each weekend. Donations can be dropped off at Coulee Life Church on Sand Lake Road (next to Sand Lake Elementary). Here are the items that we can use:
- Hormel Compleat meals
- microwavable mac and cheese cups
- cup of noodles
- Easy open canned ravioli/Spaghetti O’s/soup/beef stew
- fruit/applesauce cups
- veggie cups
- granola bars
- breakfast bars
- oatmeal packets
- cereal cups
- crackers w/cheese
- crackers w/peanut butter
- microwavable popcorn
- personal hygiene items
